I am currently an 8th semester student pursuing Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology major from
Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology(IIEST), Shibpur.
I am a competitive programmer and a self learner in this field. I am passionate about web development. I am a tech savvy and always passionate about learning new technologies, tools and frameworks which the IT industries heavily use these days.
Learning about these tools further improve my skills so that I can stand up to the expectations, requirements and standards of the industries.

- Implemented a simple real-time chat app using Node.js for the backend and Bootstrap for the frontend.

- A simple RESTful API which supports all the CRUD operations, built using node.js.

- Implemented a simple single pass assembler to convert the assembly program of SIC/XE machines directly to its corresponding object code.
- Implemented a loader to load the object code of SIC machines into the memory.
- Created a simple online retail site using HTML, CSS and PHP. Used phpMyAdmin for creating and manipulating the database.
- Implemented a temperature sensor using LPC1768 ARM microcontroller and LM-35 temperature sensor.
- A program written in C++ to encrypt and also decrypt PGM image files.
The ICPC, entitled the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, is an annual multi-tiered competitive programming competition among the universities of the world. The contest is sponsored by IBM. Headquartered at Baylor University, the ICPC operates in autonomous regions on six continents under the auspices of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) in accordance with the ICPC Policies and Procedures which are published at the Official ICPC Headquarters Website
CodeChef SnackDown is an annual multi-round global programming tournament conducted by CodeChef. It aims to pit the best programming minds from across the globe against each other for the ultimate title of “SnackDown Champions”. It was conceived on the model of ICPC in its first edition in the year 2010 and catered to university students in India.
World Cup is an online University level codesprint competition open to all university students from around the world. The competition is hosted by Hackerrank.

In this event, the contestants had to participate in teams(consisting of 3 people), and had to propose a business plan. Our team's topic was 'Waste to Watts', in which we proposed an efficient method to convert most of the household wastes produced in the Kolkata region into useful enery which can be used by the industries.
